‘Powlett Jones came about as a front for my ideas and creations, this is all about artistic confidence and probably the menopause, but whatever the real deep reason (I’m not really sure I know), Powlett Jones was born.

In the Groove Vinyl Store, Henley-on-Thames
Commission to découpage in store coffee bar. This was a joy to do as it enabled me to source materials from many many back issues of “NME”, “Sounds”, and old movie fan magazines.
John Cooper Clarke Walking Cane
Commission for découpaging a walking cane for a John Cooper Clarke fan. To complete this in the most authentic way, I was lucky enough to find JCC’s autograph in a book, which added an interesting touch to the handle.

Commission for a coffee bar within a vinyl store. Découpage reflecting music and film as requested by the retailer.
